Yeah I don't like mayo on sushi and almost everything else save a few select sandwiches with a small amount of mayo. I like wasabi and ginger on my rolls, nothing else. Not even soy sauce.
The roll I usually get goes by different names depending on the restaurant. Most common name I've seen is seafood maki but that is the generic/americanized name for it - I don't know the real name. Its a large roll with tuna, yellowtail, salmon, avocado, and cucumber.
I am sure I would enjoy the daily special rolls too but I'm too cheap for them.
I voted Eel (Unagi) but am a fan of a lot of those. I actually started making my own sushi because it's so much cheaper. I can get frozen Unagi, squid, octopus, tuna, mackeral, and more from any one of the local oriental marts here and the rest is stupid easy. The stuff isn't that bad for you either.
