When I walked in to my place of work the fire alarm was going off, which means nothing it hasn't worked right for years. When i get to my office i find out that it has been going off since 11:00 last night and nobody can turn it off. Any more of this I'm going to rip the thing off of the wall.
Btw i've only been here for 2 hours

Uh, where's the fire department response? They can usually shut those things off...unless something is really on fire....

The FD couldn't turn it off since it was the new brain that was acting up. The contractor that just put it in have cut the power to it to turn it off.

I spent the night at a friends dorm, some kid lit his hair on fire at 10pm. The University Dorm supe didn't turn off the alarm until 630am. University punishment for stupidity. Thank god it was a Friday...

how can you work in that? where i work the buildings basically seal themselves off into small zones. fire doors and smoke screens close off all the hallways. the actual alarms are set so loud that you want to get the hell out when they go off. someone just cut the power to them or something.
