From SDMBA:
FINDING LEGAL FREERIDE OPPORTUNITIES
With the destruction of Flightline and the rumored closing
of Ted Williams, we know the demand for freeride opportunities
is only going to rise. The problem with both of those locations
(and others) is that they're aren't legal and they're vulnerable
to being wiped out at a moment's notice.
What's needed is something legal where the technical features
can remain. It's been done elsewhere, like Bootleg Canyon
outside Las Vegas. Come to our next board meeting, Wednesday,
June 20th at 7:00 p.m. at the Mission Trails Visitors Center
and let's figure out how to get this done locally.
