Im headed up this coming weekend for my second firestone. Just wondering if there is going to be any super D to go with DH? If so, whats the course shaping up to be? I heard it would happen, but havent heard anything about it lately. Also, any changes in the DH course this year? Thanks!

Its happening, its a chunk of the XC course.

Start at the DH start house and exit the opposite direction. Singletrack running down the canyon opposite the DH course.
Lots of off camber turns, narrow single and some good speed. Flatish at the top. Not sure on the entire course or estimated times.

Does the super-D conflict with DH? It looks like it might.

The DH starts at 1:00 and the Super-D starts at 5:30. I forgot how long the DH takes.

Are there any passing sections on the downhills, or is it staggered start?

awesome, makes a lot of sense for the venue. What about practice? Doesnt look like there will be time after DH to practice for Super D, thinking should check it out during morning shuttle time....See you guys saturday!
