Food poisoning takes anywhere from 1-48 hours before sickness, depending on what you have been exposed to. So I'll bet in some of the preceding posts, the person is bad mouthing the wrong place. It's unlikely will ever know what made you sick.

I have noticed people always try to stick it on some business. "So and so made me sick, that place is a ****hole!" Not because their girlfriend didn't wash her hands and got fecal matter in the potato salad.
