But how is this implied here by “For those in Murica - how many states have you ridden in?”
"How many" implies a numeric response. "Which" would imply a listing.
Outstanding ones below
Implies the ones listed below are the ones yet to be ridden in.

I'm going to rate you bad spelling, as there's no bad grammar and it hasn't been converted to Homer yet :D

I parsed “outstanding” as “particularly good” and just wasn’t going to question your taste :D

Mine is an easy list:

New York
Vermont
Pennsylvania
Ohio
Vermont
North Carolina

Does riding around in a parking lot count? :D

I think there's just a few of the "good" still to check out and then lots of filler - including some of those as I'm passing through later this year.

And BC also.

I think its funny I've avoided spending any time in CA aside from rowing races and a trade show once. Looks like I need to knock off Nevada, Arizona, and California to complete my western conquest. I should throw in Hawaii for good measure.

If the trip goes ahead, we're driving across to Virginia for a race and I'd penciled this as a leg stretch for toward the end of the second day of driving, likely mid-afternoon on a Friday. Not sure where you are in the state, but welcome to join if it's somehow close :D edit: 270 miles away suggests not close :(

I’d have to look at trail forks. In 2004ish some buddies and I rode all over ON and crossed over into QC and rode a day. I was in the back seat of a Taurus wagon.
Ah! Not the golden years of trails in QC. Probably Bromont and Mount Ste-Anne.

Eh, I’ve driven further to ride shittyer trails. Not sure what time of the year, Obannon can be hot as hell. Not sure why, but mid summer there right on the River is quite humid and not super enjoyable.
