This isn't necesarily a 29er only post, but the 2010 Gary Fisher Rumblefish 2 has that new fox shock DRCV (Dual Rate Control Valve) rear shock. Has anyone else ridden this shock? I'm not sure if i had to little air pressure, but i seem to blow thru the travel way too fast. I realize the design behind the product, but doesn't seem to feel effective... any opinions?

I only rode the bike at trekworld, where a Fox tech set the sag for me. I didn't make any other adjustments to it, just rode it, and tried to bottom it out but couldn't, or at least didn't notice it. Are you setting sag by yourself? Maybe get a buddy to help you to ensure accuracy.
Yea i work at a shop and set up the sag according to Gary Fisher, but still bottoms out. The shock also makes a loud fluid sound as if there is a lot of rebound on.. like a squish every time. Maybe this shock is defective.
