My fiance and I are looking at heading to South America (Chile, Peru, Bolivia) for our honeymoon, and we really want to have a snowboarding/mountain biking honeymoon - think Whistler or Mount Hood in our northern latitude summer, where you can do both in the same day if you're crazy/energetic enough. Does anyone know if there are glaciers and/or other things (altitude, whatever) that would allow us to do both in the same timeframe (weeks, not hours)? I realize that like Whistler and Hood, it won't be optimal for both at the same time. But one can only dream
