Got to the office just as they were testing the fire alarms. So I just sat in my car and waited til that hoopla was over.
New laptop day at work. Got 4.5 years out of the last one, not a bad run.
shoulders are sore from doing that 4th rotation on the weights so that's good. Almost wasted a nice cup of espresso but I managed to gram the mug before it spilled.
easy day at work then I have to lad my final stuff in the camper and go play EMT at a horse show all weekend. Taking the road bike with me to go out for an evening ride Saturday.

Work. Tired. Slept wrong, back hurts. etc etc etc.
But enough complaining, its a long weekend. Woooooooooo.
Have to tear down the bike and get rid of that god awful creak/knocking, as we have a full schedule of activities planned for the weekend.
FINGERS CROSSED it doesn't rain so that we can do shuttles on Sunday.
apparently I am buying a spec crux today, for reasons. Actually for commuting and because it's a banging deal. I suppose I will part out the spooky and sell frame only, then hold onto the wheels for training spares on the tt bike. maybe.

FTS Friday. I've been in very little pain and only taken 2 pain pills on top of the Advil and Tylenol and baby aspirin mix they have me alternating. The wife got me a pimp cane from Walgreens because the crutches are more trouble than they are worth.
I was reading the details of the work they did and it sounds like it was a hot mess. There wasn't an incident that I'm aware of this time which is frustrating. I know when I tore shit the other times..

Hello and whatnot, lmao. I came into the office today out of sheer guilt, and now I am missing Olympic coverage. SAD! I'll leave right after lunch tho. I did jog 7 miles in some humid bullshit this morning, so at least I've got that going for me.
I should do some work today, but motivation is zero. Weather should give me enough of window to get a bike ride in at least.

At some point you just need to start torturing these people publicly to send a message. Get a set of catfish pliers and take their pants off while they're not wearing pants. Visited the local pump track for the first time this morning - brand new Velosutions unit less than a mile from my house.
It was fun for 30 minutes, but since I am too old, unskilled and chickenshit to try any crazy gaps or transfers, it got pretty boring. Maybe I’ll see how much of it I can manual next time.

Didn't cool off much last evening... might have to give in and turn on the A/C. Or go up to the liquor store and get a handle of gin and go sit on the porch instead.
