In hell. Welcome!
I am just happy January is behind us already. Today gonna be tough again, then hopefully a sweet weekend without much work and New Hampsha skiing.

I wonder how much better the traffic coming home Sunday will be, given the football game? We were invited to a friend's house for a Super Bowl party and Wifey is really excited, as it's a way for her to meet new people. I however scheduled ski lessons this Sunday, so Haley and I will be at the mountain. She managed to get a babysitter for Hannah, so she will be going by herself and is very excited.

Historically, late afternoon traffic on SB Sunday is *MUCH* easier than "normal." That said, the shitshow tends to gobble up the early/mid-afternoon portion of the day.

Sadly, historical information seems to be of little use in the New I-70 paradigm. :(

I may actually get to ski Monday. Thinking either the Jane or Copper. Hopefully I will have some bindings mounted to my new skis by then.

Today's existential moment brought to you by kitty:

Off to Bozeman for a hockey tournament. Haven’t been there in 15 years or more.
I'm in IP today, but probably driving back to BZN tonight/tomorrow, let me know if you need anything (beta or otherwise)

My wife's favorite tacos (classic and fusion options)

https://m.facebook.com/tacomontesbozeman

Unfortunately my favorite "classic" taco place is closed for January (2/3) But next time...

I suspect you'll be on the road before Sunday but live music Sun/Thurs while soaking here and newly renovated:

While I'm a member at BZN hot springs, I like the scenery better at Norris, and they have food (and wine for the missus) and also en route:

(St)Aleworks is good food for adults and kiddos:

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
Morning -8 for my morning commute. I can’t wait to get bike commuting but not in this weather. I’m having fun bike hunting with alex (youngest). She’s been stepping up her chores and just brought home a kick as$ report card so it’s time!

The new Berthoud paradigm is my problem.

I have a Fitbit knockoff as wel works for my purposes. Syd has the real deal and mine seems to do the same.
I had a Fitbit (gift from my MIL) for a few weeks several years ago... I came out of work one day, saw a fitbit crushed in the parking lot, laughed about whoever lost their fitbit in the parking lot without noticing... then looked at my wrist.

Potayto/potahto. If you really want to help that situation, call Clear Creek and tell them to fix that fucking light at the Post Office in Empire.

Bottom line: probably a crap-shoot in today's environment. Just make sure to ski until closing bell and then maybe leisurely grab a bite to eat before leaving.

Can we invest in a CO monkey helicopter?

Wife has interviewed for a job which would necessitate a couple of days a week in in the Springs, but the commute would be hellish.

Time for her to get a Model 3 with Enhanced Autopilot. :D I-25 and I-70 are where Autopilot actually works pretty well.

Yep, rode BD the other day. Mt Charleston is indeed snowy. We'll have to hit that another time.

I suggested a Tesla, we might just have to bunk at @Pesqueeb 's house one night a week if she does choose to pursue.
