I grew up with his wife and her cousins. My mom got a call from her aunt saying that it was her husband. Horrible. Last I heard they did catch the guy days later. He was still drunk and didn't know where he'd been or that he'd hit anyone. That's the #1 reason I'll never ride a road bike.

UHG - That's horrible to read about. They don't give the victim's name but it doesn't matter. I'm sorry for this happening to whoever it is. As a motorist (almost all of us are), we are reminded to watch out for anything.
