my pedal seams to be frozen on to a set of profile cranks. i have tryed all sorts of ways of getting more leverage and 2 kinds of liquid wrench anyone got any suggestions.
thanks
I assume you know the threading of each side, right? Go to a LBS that has one of the bigger Park pedal wrenches, and they can put a cheater pipe on it. Probably a $1 charge.
Not sure you know this or not, but its a tip that might save you in the future. Allot of times when I bolt is stuck, and you can't remove it, tap it with a dead blow or some other soft hammer. The blows will loosen it. This is all opposed to just putting constant pressure on it, i.e. - leaning on it really hard, putting a cheater pipe on it really hard then just pushing until it moves. A couple quick taps usually jars it loose enough to remove it normally. If you do put constant pressure on it, most likely you will shear the bolt off.
