I saw one of these on an online site that I can get for $275.00 and it's close enough to pick up. I am wondering if this bike would be good for starting to do some FRing, I have heard it weighs 32 pounds so...

It's not a bad bike, but you'll find yourself looking to upgrade rather quickly. It's best to start with something more specifically freeride oriented.

The Panic Pro needs a new fork and new pedals at least. Suntour XC? That's some WalMart ish.
If you're spending any money at all on it, why not just buy a good used bike?

Yeah, i second Kgelster's thought, if you are going to spend any amount of money on a bike, you might as well spend that money on something that is good. not something you are going to have to spend even more money on making it better, the frame will still be mediocre, take in to example, Ricers and Civics...

buy a frame, then build your bike, it's more satisfying, and you get what YOU want....not just a "deal"

I was at Target today, and I checked out their bikes. Their Schwinn cruisers use the same fork as the Fuji Pro. Gross.
