New reporting by @kfaulders provides helpful context regarding the immunity obtained by Mark Meadows. As I suggested earlier, it appears that Meadows obtained “use immunity.” So his testimony (and evidence derived from that testimony) can’t be used against him, but it does *not* bar charges...

I don't think Meadows has a choice. once such immunity is offered then he can't take the 5th. but it can't be used against him.

Not just if he actually has to serve prison time, but if he gets a night or two for breaking the gag order or similar. Would really suck to be on that secret service detail. He would not be allowed in general, so protective, but again, how would that work with the SS detail etc etc
