yo what up C - you can Mapquest it if you like to Bates Rd.
Spalding Co. Georgia Usa 30223. The best way is probably
1-85 s towards Atl then i-285 s to i-675 to 75 s then follow
directions on flyer. Hopefully the weather will be better
than this weekend although my course can hold a little
more rain than bigfoot. hpfully a good turnout too! The course
is seperate lanes about 1/3 of the way then one wide mtxish
course to the bottom

The race will offer 2 classes Open and Ametuer
ametuer is free and prizes for top 3
Open $20 and pay top 3
or race free but no $$ if you place
whatever you guys wanna do just don't sue
me! I figure pros know the risk and I'll
have a waiver. I think we'll do stop watch
qualifier so I want to do a double elimination
with a winners and losers bracket I think I
have it figured out and everyone will race a
few runs and race someone at similar speeds
in second rounds. The course is dual at top
but not really any gates then goes to one
course so the stop watch will go in the pocket
after qualies...How does that sound
with a jump jam for best trick after on Dirt Jumps

Weather is looking hit or miss for the event. 20-30% chance thur. fri. sat. depending on how much, course can hold a bit now it is so
dry, we will plan for noon sat. quallies still, postpone til sat. eve. if needed or sun. noon quallies if needed. We will run this race if
it doesn't flood! at some point this weekend. Rain is scattered and
course location is south of alot of the storms the rest of the
southeast may get. So keep a check here on the monkey
for up to last minute updates for schedule changes etc.

Hey I will call you back this evening I swear! Found my phone last night. You may want to eliminate the race fee b/c it may set you up for liability. Peace brother!

The plan is for no entree fee for ametuer class
and prizes for podium,
Pro/open-pay to play, you can race for free
but no money if you podium, $20 entrypays
100% top 3 finishers and fourth a small prize
for effort. I figure that pros know what
they can ride and if you been in it that
long you know the risk! I'll have waivers
either way. I'm closer to a poker player
than an attorney but, I talked with a couple
pros who are coming from a good distance
who want $ on the line. I just want a good
turnout and for everyone to participate!
the course should be alot of fun to race on
and we will work around the weather so no one
has a wasted drive!

Cool!
then let it be known to all
this is a practice meet ran like a race
but, is not in any way an offical race
no points no norba no insurance
you must sign a waiver before riding
and pay $$ only as a donation.
The event is to celebrate gated racing
and to make up for the lack thereof this season.
Along with the other guys kinda doin the
same thing at Tenn. races. I know I
gotta have mine someway, so figured I
would throw something at my practice course
to share with others I've raced with at
series races in the past. Hope you don't
miss this one! WFO worth the drive!

Well the rain finally hit thursday night and soaked things pretty well
Although it looks like it will dry out by late friday evening.
The wonderful weather forecast is for rain early Saturday.
If we miss the rain the race can still happen Sat.
If we get rain I don't think it'll happen until Sunday 12-1.00
keep posted for further updates. Frigen Rain!

Well after a little work the course was rippin as of friday eve
had about 8 or 10 guys for practice. Really good racing on
the course even and fast. It looks like a 50/50 chance on
running Sat. I'll be out early and post something around
8 am as to whether we can race Sat. or Sun. if wet sunday
forecast hot and no clouds.

just south of the ATL
The track is smokin'. It would be worth the trip from the west coast to hit this course.
We corrupted another BMXer today. He jumped to the dark side faster than Paris Hilton can take her clothes off.
Chuck's place really is the Chuck Norris of DS tracks.

Crappy Rain! Course is too wet to run race on Saturday.
Start moved to Sunday 12ish. Should be dry enough late
sat. around 6.00 for practice. According to the past rain
course needs about 8 hrs. to dry good enough to race so
Sunday should be ample time for the course to be pretty nice.
Hope to see some folks still make it the rain is gone now
as of 11.45 am see yah there

The race Went the F@#K OFFF!
Great day track dried up perfect for the race!
Had 8 in Pro and in ametuer
Barry Nobles-AA Pro Bmxer took the win from Chuck Pitts-2nd
when I went off course trying to keep the fastest pace of the day.
Alex Gore-A Pro Bmxer took third with my man Tom Murphy 4th.
Top 2 amateurs could have raced pro. 13 year old Nathan Grant
another local Bmxer took the win, with 18 yr old Dwight Henry
2nd on the bike he bought at the race! Both are top nationally ranked Bmxperts. Pat da Kat had 3 video cameras going
for pro filming of the event video soon. Nick Soloninka traveled with
Murphy from Raleigh area as well as Pat and Dwight for the
longest trip, ignoring weather forecast to ride Fri, Sat, and Sunday
in Atl area! only the hardcore roll like that! Mad Props!!!
thanks everyone for coming! Look for an event here in Fall!

man what a great little race course you got there chuck. was well worth the $140 speeding ticket, and 14+ hours total in the car with nick. looking forward to the next time you put this together, i'll definetly make the trip down again, and will probably bring more locals with me.
