I started a blog today that will journal the whole experience from today till after the finish line. I will be updating frequently. pretty soon I will start with the builds and getting moved down to socal to start training in a couple weeks.

but for everything else I dont post on the blog. I will share with you all. what kind of stuff you ask? you know......the normal GFF shenanigans, NSFW tagged photos and all the stuff that makes me laugh.

in all honestly I would really dig your feedback and pointers over the next 6 months.

when on the blog you will see on the pages header on the right column I have a page called "crunching the numbers" this is where I am going to post all of my garmin training data so the number geeks can get a kick out of how lame I really am.

That's actually a good idea. An ER locater app that uses your phone's location to pull up directions just by pushing one button could be very useful.

Since you're going to be putting in some serious time and miles in the coming months, I definitely recommend a professional bike fit by someone who knows what they're doing. Really important imo.

I am pretty luck on that side of the fence, will be dialed in by one of the best. going to be a full day fit for both bikes.
