stay away from sloping cross bikes. fitting a cross bike is all about bar height and a big main triangle for the runs. compact screws that all up...

Um, that's not really true. We actually made them for '02, first got them in stock late last year, and they were sold out within a month. We didn't make that many, first year product/gauging demand. We'll have a lot more next year...
I looked at the giant cyclocross frames once before. I decided that if I was to buy in I would have to have disc brakes like avids but they never had discmounts.
