I know that 661 has received some hate in the past, but if you could choose between a Giro Remedy or 661 Evolution, which would you choose? Direct comparisons would be helpful, I just think that the old Mad Max 2 needs to retire.

I went from the Giro Remedy to the 661 Evolution. The evolution is much better! The Evolution fits much better and snugger on your head. Plus it is much lighter then the Remedy. The Evolution does not go down as far in the back and the visor looks pretty lame. But I like it a lot more then the Remedy by far i would get the 661 Evolution

the evolution costs me around 25 bux more than a remedy, but after browsing the thread that discusses them, i think i'm going to opt for the evolution. both are nice lids though.

it all depends which one fits better which is very head specific

for me Giros always fit like a glove with everything else a little bit off
in comparison. So it was an easy choice for me

try em on then decide, both are good lids

I'll sell you a brand new carbon fiber Giro Remedy for cheap...

I think given that you had a mad max before id go with the remedy. You know that giros fit you so get the same size.

It all comes down to fit but one thing I have noticed about the Remedy compared to other helmets is that it has very good ventilation for really hot weather.
