Basso is looking great destroying the field a la Armstrong.

Danielson was left pacing Savoldelli. I wonder exactly what kind of shape Danielson is in. But pacing is what he is there for.

Savoldelli apparently burned the descent in the scary rainy downhill. Went over the top 3'16" behind Basso and finished 1'48" behind after the 8km descent. That's nuts. Especially considering the conditions, rainy windy and cold.
