hey man im about the same weight as you all suited up and i run a obtainium TI spring #425 and for me it feels awesome. I actually run a 350 for a bit to test and it sat nicely in the turns but it was just to low of a spring rate for me. maybe ill throw a 350 on this weekend and do a few fun runs to see how it is again since its been 9 months.
I'm 165 lbs. without gear and run a 425 spring rate, tried a 450 and it was good too.
The 425 was more plush but, I could ride either. I would say go for the 450 if you are over 170lbs.
I'm 190lbs and run a Mojo Titanium 350 on the standard DHX 5.0, size Large. Gives me about 35% Sag. (1 inch reduction in eye to eye). Sounds like a couple of you guys must be running 25%-30% sag.
I put an o-ring on the shaft of my DHX to properly measured sag for a few different springs on my glory. This is hard because you have to keep removing the shock from the frame to take the measurements but I wanted to get my suspension setup dialled so.....
I am 195 lbs in full riding gear, 350 lb spring gave me 36% sag and a 400 lb spring gave me 33% sag. I kept the 400.
This is actual measured sag the way you should do it not this "yo I ran 450 and it felt sick bro get one" crap.
My 400 lb spring gives me exactly 33% sag on my Yeti 303R too, its marked on the rail so its very easy to set up.
