So, had fun with the doctor today, got stabbed, poked and prodded, peed in a cup ETC.

Officially I am pre diabetic, possibly full blown type one. Will know more in a few weeks for sure but for now I know what I need to do.

Look at the positive side. Friend of mine recently got a "diabetes service dog", superconducting poon magnet.
