And why does it surprise you that it would be any different than skunk's ass. Some things were just not made for eating.

I went to sushi with my friends and as I've mentioned before, I will only eat the teriyaki chicken or beef. Anyway, my friend was insisting I try this one that was teriyaki chicken rolled in rice and seaweed...I was like yeah, I'd try that I guess...but I was still scared to try it...so he goes I would never give you anything nasty cuz I'd never hear the end of it, so I will even eat some just to show you it's ok...and he put it in his mouth...and he got this look like he was gonna yak...turns out it was salmon skin! :dead: GROSS! It looked a lot like the teriyaki chicken roll...SO glad I didn't eat it...

It didnt' surprise me actually. Not to mention I didn't know what I was eating till after. I made sure they didn't tell me till after because I didn't want it to influence my decision.

Fear Factor dining is just not cool. If any doubt, do not eat.

Mornin all.

I had a pretty good weekend. Saturday was a lazy day of running errands until some friends came over and we went out for our friend's bachelor party. Pretty low key as far as bachelor parties go. Could've scored some crack, but passed. Could've scored some hookers, but passed. Just drank lots, went out for some Brazilian bbq then on to the titty bars. Sunday my wife (bless her heart) took the girl out for the day and let me sleep in. Got up around 11:30 and worked the rest of the afternoon on building a picket fence. My back is now nicely sunburnt, but at least I was productive. No riding took place.

Treesaw - how did you test drive a car on a Sunday? Which dealership was open on Sunday out by you guys? How did you like the Equinox?
Most of the dealerships are open on Sundays around here. I REALLY liked it and will probably end up buying one (if they get me what I want). It was a dealership that I wouldn't really feel comfortable buying from, but they were closest and I just popped in for a drive and to show Squirrel the car. They offered us a really good price right on the spot (dropped $4000 off the sticker without us even saying anything) but I would rather hold out for a dealership I can trust.

Wow, I can't think of too many dealerships in CT that stay open on Sundays.

What dealership did you take the test drive at? And what's a reputable Chevy dealership out that way? DeNoyer maybe?

I stopped at All Star Cheverolet in Ballston Spa...they're a small dealership that has a REALLY bad reputation for poor service and they're pushy. I just got off the phone with a guy from Della (Glens Falls/Ticondaroga they have 2 stores) that we were referred to by a friend...the salesman was GREAT and hopefully I will have a new vehicle soon! :thumb:
