I'll put one up: Some like it Hot w/Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemon, Tony Curtis. Not that I'm trying to keep with a classic movie format or anything.....but it's one of my personal favorites. Lemon and Curtis really shine in this one as two musicians who witness a mob murder, and hide out in an all female big band dressed in drag. Pretty forward comedy for that time period.

"The Wild Bunch" - 1969 western (by Sam Peckinpah, the man loves super violent movies)

Spice World

Spice Girls: We're the Spice Girls, yes indeed. Just Girl Power is all we need. We know how we got this far...

Ginger Spice: Strength and courage and a Wonderbra!

Spice Girls: Would this work with only one?

Baby: Just with me I have no fun.

Spice Girls: Would this work with only two?

Scary Spice: We need more for what we do.

Spice Girls: Would this work with only three?

Sporty: Three's a crowd, bad company.

Spice Girls: Would this work with only four?

Posh: No way, girl, we need one more!

Spice Girls: Listen up, take my advice - we need five for the power of Spice. Give it up, give it out, take a stand, scream and shout! One, two, three, four, five - Spice Girls!

Amistad-this movie stuck in my mind for so long, I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that the African tribe did not have a word for "lying" or to tell a lie.

Mondays in the Sun-About a group of dock workers who lost their jobs in Spain and how they are each coping with unemployment

friggin' Snatch, oh and Big Fish
I'm not exactly a Brad Pitt fan, but he and Ed Norton was also pretty good in Fight Club.
American History X, and Tears of the Sun - so sad
The Crow (the first one), and Seven.
And you guys might not have heard of this one: 100 Girls (had me on the floor laughin' my ass off).
I also really like Sneakers, La Femme Nikita (the French one), and Pulp Fiction. Just saw Sin City and LOVED it.

In an attempt to counter the RHPS mess, I'd like to recommend a movie:

All Quiet on the Western Front (1930)

Pretty poignant, even 75+ years later.

The late 70's/early 80's remake with John-Boy Walton wasn't half bad either.

The book how ever is a classic classic.
