Mert Lawwill has a large part in the movie regaueding the flattrack racing sections Steve McQueen is also in the moive competeing in some long distance enduro racing, this film was revolutionary at the time because of the creative camera angles like putting a camera on the motorcycle so you can see his face and see his hands operating the clutch,brakes and thottle. Its a kick ass movie even today a must see if you can find it. the movie is more basid to offroad motorcycle racing with only breif sections of pavement based racing,
