Good Recipes for Low Calorie to Protein Ratios?

I'm looking for some proven recipes to help me reduce my calories while adding adequate protein to my daily food intake.

Here's a favorite recipe that I like to eat, but it has way too many calories for such a low amount of protein:

Peanut butter & raisins on Ritz crackers

Description --> Calories --> grams of protein
===========================================
2 cups, 240 ml skim milk --> 180 --> 16
2 tbsp, 32g, crunch peanut btr --> 190 --> 8
1/8 cup, 20g. raisins --> 65 --> 1/2
5 Ritz crackers --> 80 --> 1
===========================================
Total calories --> 515
Total grams of protein --> 25.5
= 20.12 calories per gram of protein

I have a great, modest calorie protein shake I make and drink quite often - I'll post the recipe for that if anyone wants.

Thanks,

OD

One that my parents do a lot is a Tuna Salad

No dressing or mayo or anything, just iceburg lettuce, other veggies if you like, and some decent canned tuna.

You can also eat mixed nuts....my dad does this a lot...if you like nuts that is :) I like cashews and peanuts personally. Good snack and very filling.

Yeah, tuna, chicken, cottage cheese - all great sources of protein.

Anyone know where I can find statistics for recommended amounts of daily protein intake based on body size, workout regimen and so forth?

It seems like I heard or read that you need four ounces or ~113g of protein for daily muscle repair/buildup if you're regularly doing strength exercises.

Does that sound about right? More/less?

Thanks,

OD

BTW - I just got back from a most spectacular road ride!!! Beautiful skies, 75 degrees - a bit on the windy side, but I'm not complaining.

Calories per grams of protein
--------------------------------------
10:1 Cottage cheese (regular, not non-fat)
11.2:1 Skim milk
14.1:1 2% milk
16.2:1 Crunchy peanut butter (Peter Pan)
120:1 Frosted Flakes cereal

I don't have figures for tuna, chicken, et cetera.
