I'm looking for some proven recipes to help me reduce my calories while adding adequate protein to my daily food intake.
Here's a favorite recipe that I like to eat, but it has way too many calories for such a low amount of protein:
Peanut butter & raisins on Ritz crackers
Description --> Calories --> grams of protein
===========================================
2 cups, 240 ml skim milk --> 180 --> 16
2 tbsp, 32g, crunch peanut btr --> 190 --> 8
1/8 cup, 20g. raisins --> 65 --> 1/2
5 Ritz crackers --> 80 --> 1
===========================================
Total calories --> 515
Total grams of protein --> 25.5
= 20.12 calories per gram of protein
I have a great, modest calorie protein shake I make and drink quite often - I'll post the recipe for that if anyone wants.
