I've been helping a friend demo the inside of his new house to do some re-modeling.
Yesterday the contractor put his first windows in and didn't put headers on top of them. YIKES!

Anyway it's almost Friday thank god!

Hope ya all have a great day!

1 more day to Kingdom Trails. :happydance:

Back to School Night last night was good. Lots of parents came by to say hello.

Buying groceries today for the weekend and baking up some tasty treats when I get home. Too bad most of you are going to miss out on them! :brows:

Mornin Stosh. Not much going on. Got some riding in yesterday, but that's about it. Pretty much just took it easy last night (watched The Island again), didn't sleep much, and now I'm back banging my head against the wall...

I miss my bike.

Had practice for my Mite Bs last night. Ugh. We've got a long way to go. But perhaps I need to re-think the drills I plan out for our practices. :clue:

Practice again tonight too.

I'm almost down to a completely clean slate in terms of bike stuff (except for the Serotta). Feels kinda weird and kinda good at the same time as it throws open a lot of possibilities for the late winter/early spring.

today is my Friday
:stupid:

Out of here at 9:30 to take my jeep to the shop. Check engine light has been on for around 2 weeks so I figure I should get it looked at before the 3.5 hour drive to VT. tomorrow. Spent last evening cleaning up the bikeys for the trip. Gonna bring them both, not sure which one will get ridden yet.... Tonight I've got to get some growlers filled w/ local brew to share and pack my clothes. That's about it. Can't freakin' wait!!!

HOORAY for FRIDAY!!! I have not ridden since the Ashford race. I hope I remember how. I'm looking forward to our KT weekend, rain or shine.

I ran for 3.4 treadmill miles last night in 32 minutes.

Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
I'm either going to end the day in a lot of bicycle debt with the purchase of a new group or not.

With my Talas at push, I've borrowed a Cannondale hardtail from a friend. Its been a long time since I put significant time on a hardtail. I can honestly say I don't miss hardtails at all. Where I really suffered was on the climbs of all things. The bike just bounced around and I could never get a good rhythm going. The bars are way too narrow and way too flat so that may have been some of it.

I've got this bike thru next week so I'll be interested to see if I adapt though I think I'm going to be a full boinger for life.

THE Palouse
It smells like death in the parkinglot. I just got the office this morning, it's about 6am, and it smells like dead meat in our back lot. I peeked in the dumpster and someone dumped a whole elk in there. Beautiful.

I've smelled worse, but not typically this early in the morning. Not quite like Foldger's in my cup.

Floating down the Hudson
Morning. Did my first night right in my history of biking last night. Borrowed a friend's light (and HID) and it was awesome! Saw lots of fun critters and enjoyed the moon and the owls. Now I'm trying to decide if I want to dish out the cash for a light. I'd been looking at a Turbocat halogen that my LBS recommends, but not sure how it will look compared to that Nightrider HID.

Seems like a lot of trouble to dump it in a dumpster. I'd figured leaving it wherever you found/killed it would be more appropriate.
