Good F'n morning all,

Happy HOWL'o'Ween!

went to the shop and finished the wheel I built on Sat. (I needed to tension it, and make sure it was dished propperly!)

got home to find some guy that lives down the street, broken down in front of my house taking up my parking space, he couldn't get his Harley started so I helped him push it down the hill and we got it bump started on the second try so that was cool (I got my parking space back)

I got a "See me message in my mailbox today" by the pricipal, so I need to figure out what I did, or what I forgot to hand in... (luckily he likes me, maybe its nothing but I just hate not knowing)

Happy f'n halloween. I am back in Tejas. Had a great trip to Cali. Planning to do nothing, or perhaps golf and ride today. I start at the shop tomorrow.

Yo. Not much going on....got engaged on Saturday so we spent the night calling my parents and doing up an email to tell all of our friends. You know.....run of the mill, everyday type stuff..

Morning. I've been teaching an analytical chem lab all morning. Then I got back to my office and checked my email. I think I have been officially 'headhunted.' I just got some random and slightly weird email from some start up company I've never even heard of in Boston about a job. It sounds pretty interesting. I have a phone interview next week sometime.

What's even weirder is that when I started researching the company, it turns out that the actual technology they are using is something that I flippantly suggested in a completely theoretical and abstract way at research conference about 8 years ago. And 8 years ago nobody would have even thought it remotely possible so I never even thought to pursue the idea. But I guess somebody was listening...

Oh, forgot to mention that Gravity Dropper shipped me a new seatpost. Some of the best customer service out there. They received it last Thursday and on Monday I had a new one in my possession. Freaking awesome.

so apparently they are targetting a few teachers who don't turn any of their stuff in,(not me) and as I said, I am on real good terms with the principal, and he wanted me to turn a weeks worth of lesson plans I missed turning in a couple of weeks back when I was busy with the "haunted hayride" thing, so he can burn the couple of teachers that are being A-holes. This will give him the angle to start to document their actions (without me getting in trouble :biggrin: ) I just have to go make copies of them (I already have them done )

Afternoon Monkeys. I've been running around for the past couple of days at my new job. It's going well, just a lot of faces and buildings on campus to remember. It's nice having my own office for once. There's not a cubicle to be found around here. Two walls of my office are glass, so I can actually tell what's going on outside! Lots of squirrels to watch...

Post-work night right is planned at the trails across the street from my office. Can't wait! I f'ing love my new Arc!

You have to do lesson plans? Thats crap. We only have to submit a term program and keep a daily planner.
