So after living in the Oakland/Emeryville area for almost 20 years, and in the East Bay all my life, I'm moving away.

No more Joaquin Miller park. No more terrible Oakland drivers threatening to run me down. No more crack-heads on the corner eyeing my bike as I come to a stop light...

I'll miss it.


But, I'm moving to a house that's about a 15 minute ride to Annadel state park in Santa Rosa, so I think I'll get over it pretty quick.

Annadale has some really fun riding, or at least it did last summer. I think I heard some rumors about more and more trails getting shut down. I lived around that area last summer. Fun, but not somewhere I would want to live for too long.
