IMO this is could be a liscensing deal (someone else paying royalty to Goodyear for their logo), than Goodyear putting its efforts into selling 100’s of bike tires globally a year in the hopes of landing some OEM business.

extremely unlikely. good year is jumping into cycling. if you'd read the article, their main focus in the cycling category isn't mountain bike.
