i wonder if helmut newton and richard avedon took advantage of the confidence their fashion clients had in them by whoring out their gigs like this.

So you need to get the models to wear numbers like the DH'ers. How else are you going to sift through the thousnad photos you take and get them their pics?

Im still waiting for my disk BTW........

Nice gig there D. Sounds like you are moving up in the world.

The next time we see D at a race, he will have Ducati models standing next to him. He might have some body guards as well. He will be way too popular to associate with MTB'ers! :D

ohmygod, you guys rule!! thanks for not being bent that i was a little bent. so awesome you were nicer to me than i think i was to you. so thank you. really.

to explain a little, i feel that you are given an unspoken trust when working in a situation such as the fashion shoot....where people might be baring more in certain circumstances than they would do in another. circumstance #1 being the fashion shoot, circumstance #2 being a website loaded with horny dudes. and to flaunt your work in circumstance two (IMO) squashes the trust that you had been given. sorta kinda like if i had a photog shoot me and my family and we're all a bunch of naked freaks, so we have the photog shoot us buck naked. we would trust that professional photographer to respect our privacy and not share our nakedness with others. even if we'll never meet them, see them, know them, etc.

i'm a dork though, because reality is that fashion mags are pornographic in more ways than just the nakid chicas (in my prudish opinion) and who cares if the pictures are shown in a fashion venue or a bike riding venue. chicks are still nekkid.

i didn't mean to down-play the strong work you do with the lens, nor the achievement of getting such a gig.

again, thanks all for not reeming me a new arse holious. i think i was snippy cuz of the new moon. ;)

True I am female, but not true that I wouldn't have the same issues if the models were men. I'm not keen on this sort of thing regardless of gender.

I think that the people modeling in these shows don't really care, otherwise they'd definitely be in another line of work. While I don't know any models I also don't think they would look down upon someone getting their face out there. After all, they're all trying to "make it big."

Comparing your second scenario to the model shoot is like comparing apples to oranges.
