It's time for fork maintenance. Anybody know where I might purchase a graduated cylinder locally ?
Just by a measuring cup. Easier to clean up anyways.
that's my method as well. easier to get the oil into the fork too.I have also seen them at Beer supply stores. I alway have used large syringes with volume marks. Friend of mine picked up a bunch at the pharmacy and handed them out to those of us who wrench their own stuff.
i've been using belray, but that's because its what i had on hand.Anybody got any oil preferences for a Rocksox Revelation ? I've tried several oils, Bell Ray, Golden Spectro, Finish Line, in Marzocchi forks and so far liked Amsoil the best.
How important is oil quality in an air fork ?
like i said, its what i had on hand. The Bell Ray breaks down fastest of all of them.
Buy it now $90 http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROCK-SHOX-PIKE-AIR-CROWN-STEERER-UPPER-CSU-NEW-SPARE-STEEL-STEERER-BLACK-CROWN-/150716963335Ironically I was rebuilding my Pike for the first time in........too long, knowing I was going to see this when I ripped it apart. I shall rebuild as if I never saw it and see how long it lasts. Ignorance is bliss after all.....
