GES Launch partnered Dual Cross race # 2 is happening this weekend on Saturday June 23 at the Spring Mountain Ski area in Spring Mount PA.
Jason Beckley and Colby Barth have been hard at work this week tweeking the course and adding some new features to a course that was very well received and enjoyed by the racers at the first race on May 26.

Dual Cross racing is back in the East for 2012 with construction of the dual course well underway at Launch Bike Park at the Spring Mountain PA. Ski area. The Gravity East Series (GES) has partnered with Launch Bike Park to build a dual course and host five races for the 2012 race season. Details as follows;

No Online Registration for the Dual events
Entry Fees;
PRO $40.00 AMATEUR $30.00
Registration - 8:30am 11:30am
Course open for practice - 8:30am 12:30pm
Riders meeting - 12:45pm
Timed seeding runs - 1:00pm
Elimination runs 1 hour after seeding runs are completed.
Awards ceremonies ASAP after last elimination run.
Format;
* Dual Cross course incorporating Mountain Bike features.
* Timed qualifying run for seeding (all racers qualify).
* Double elimination (Winner of losers bracket Races for 3rd).
* USAC license required. One day licenses will be available at registration.

This is not a point series so categories will be open to revision based on number of riders and category size.
