Greg Watts took home top honors tonight at the 2009 Monster Energy Slopestyle here at Crankworx in Whistler.

Watts through down a near perfect run in front of 20,000 screaming fans to take home the $15,000 cash that was up for grabs. His score of 96.0 was enough to beat Brandon Semenuk with a 95.25. Watts 360 tail whipped the drop in, talk about getting things started with a bang. He followed it up with multiple 360's, a superman seat grab and and a flip whip over the VW big air jump and finally backflipped the final Kokanee drop in.

Andreu Lacondeguey won the postponed best trick prize, which is voted on by fellow riders. Lacondeguey threw down a massive 360 flat spin superman despite the gusting wind, whipping the crowd into a frenzy.
