Grips - Thick or thin?

I run a set of nice, broken in ruffians on my DH bike and the Odi crosstrain X grips on my slalom bike because I usually ride that bike without gloves and they feel great that way

small grips, med gloves,

tryed big grips, couldnt hold on very well, so i like the ruffians and i am going to try the sunline thins this year

I like thin grips because they weigh less. How the heck am I supposed to build a 35lb DH bike with thick grips. Who cares if they're comfortable. I wan't a light bike,dam it.

I didn't read every post so sorry if its been said.

I like thin grips like the Ruffian with large gloves but normally don't wear gloves. My hands get tired with thick grips or thick palmed gloves. Also, I think it is easier to table with thin grips.
