Hey,
I just bought a pair of Halo SAS wheels (in gold). on the rims where they are joined there is a big weld mark, and the join continues around the rim (where rim brakes would run) this is the same front and rear but looks a bit bodged and i would expect better from a top spec wheel. can anyone tell me if this is normal. Cheers

yea, I have a weld like that on mine....never been a problem...I love my wheels!!! BTW where did you get them???..I looking to get another set but everyone has been outta stock on em!

mine is the same.

the weld should not be on the rim brake surface.

it is from the BMX world.

the new ones have a bonded sleeve and no weld.

I have a set of those. My rear wheel is split at the weld. The pins are holding it together

Kool, cheers for the advice guys. I got mine from ebay UK theres still some on there.

once my welds get stronger..and if i ever pick those up i'd probably try to strengthen them..but them mes them up and go sulk in the corner
