Not where I'd like
my gf got me a new waffle maker last night

so far ive made:

-regular waffles
-chocolate chip waffles
-reese pieces waffles
-gummy bear waffles (didnt turn out so well...still working to get this right)

Forget about the Hammerhasslehoff if you'd like to pedal.
Just get 10 speed in stead - 34 (or 32) up front and 11-36 out back.

The reason I prefer that options, if because the Hammershnitzel is just too damn heavy and the 10spd is working out very nicely for me on my AM/FR bike

+1 i was all about hammerschnitzel and still think its cool but with the newer 10spd gear ratios and the ability to keep a quick engagement hube i'd go with the simpler option.

Dont let the weight of the schmidt be a concern. It only weighed a pound more than my deraileur setup and its so low you will never notice it. I have had alot people say "blah blah its too heavy". Then they ride it and change their mind. As for clearnce issues I have no idea
