i have been looking to get wider handlebars for my dirtjump bike. I have found a quite a few already, and i dont know what to go with.

so how would each material withstand abuse over a period of time.. and wat would be easiest on the wrists.

chromoly, aluminum, zirconium alloy, scandium, titanium (do they igsist?), carbon fiber

So far, i had lots of trouble trying to find 31.8mm chromoly handlebars. I have found zirconium alloy handlebars at pricepoint.com .... I have already seen many aluminum handlebars 6061,7075, 2014, 7005, 7050 alloy series and so on.

ps i dont care about weight, comfort and duribility are more of a value to me.

then you want steel bars. you may not find any in a 31.8 though (they might exist, but that would be pure overkill) you should get a new 22.2 stem and you'll have the availibility of darn near any steel bar on the market...
