Called into work?Morning all. Here I sit at home waiting to be called into work. I'm so bored....Worst thing is when I get the call I'll be working till midnight, if I'm luckyAt least I'm hourly

Well testing today, they're not finished drilling the well, so here I sit waiting. The well test usually lasts about 8-12 hours.

Yo all. Going to do an "old school Grafton" ride tonight (though in Pittstown) with old friends from the Mohawk Hudson Cycling Club, plus a few aerobically challenged downhiller friends from here as well. Doing a techy ride with lots of sessioning sections, elbowing each other and later parking lot beer drinking rather than heart rate elevation as a goal in general.

The timelines for these two jobs are not running in parallel unfortunately. The one I interviewed for yesterday - I'd expect a decision to be made in two weeks. The other that I want to Boston for that Search Firm Interview could take a month or longer before a final decision is made by the organization looking to fill the vacant position.Do you know when to expect the offer for the other job?
If you do, and if it's not too long a wait, I'd probably tell the first one (at the point that they have given you the job) I needed a few days to get things in order and weigh my options before I could formally accept.
I don't know if that's smart, but it's what I'd do

Don't know, fixed the lawn mower, cleaned house , and worked on the upstairs. Never got the call, So i just got in to work know...Horray for me I only get paid for 4.5 hrs today
