Any recomendations of a burly hardtail i can freeride and still whip arround for a little assualt.... Transsition vagrant?

More freeride than urban/DJ, but I felt comfy on it right from the get go.

Go for it, Banshee Morphine is heavy, Evil Imperial has a funky seat tube, Sinister Ridge has geometry I do not care for (I think they may be changing that though).

I have one, I love it. The bike is slack, low, stable and predictable. What fork are you thinking of running?

Well to be honest im not sure i was going to use all my old downhill parts off my other bike so it might be heavy.... and th fork is up in the air maybee a little larger travel so i can hit some dh trails.

Definately go for the vagrant. Try to get the 07 model with the Rock Shox Totem (i think?).

SOUL Cycle Sluggo

I actually find my sluggo a little heavy for Urban Assult, but my Soul Cycle Titan fits the bill. I've ridden that thing DH, FR, XC, DJ, and Urban, and it loves the abuse!
