Has anyone just bought the 510 stealth rubber kit and glued it to the bottom of some vans?
I'm effing poor and can't see dropping 100$ on shoes ATM
but I do have some hightop vans with a Velcro strap that have no tred left on them...

Can't stay on the pedals in the gnar ATM.
what do you guys think?

I say go for it, just make sure you glue it good.

Use some 10 penny nails around the edges just to shore'em up.

Never tried it, but I love my original 510's. Alcohol the hell out of the old soles first.
Should be really comfy. Please post results if you try it.

Only person I've seen photo evidence of having done it was a pic of Gwin in Decline throwing a turn. He had Shimano flat shoes w/ stealth rubber soles. I'm thinking these resole threads always die b/c at some point, people find out the compound they sell in the resole kit might not be the same as what's on a set of Impacts.

Could be wrong though. Never hurts to double check though.

those have been up for a week or longer now, I was hunting down size 13 and saw those, If I could have shaved my big toe Id have gotten them... LOL
