It's so good.
I always forget about Havarti, then I'll have some, and I freak out.

Boooring. These are some of my picks in the last 6 months:
VT Maple Smoked Cheddar
Various Swiss Aged Gruyere
Dutch Ciao Angelo
i'm convinced that you cannot get a decent manchego in the US; they even somehow manage to screw up the stuff they import from Spain.
harvati's a decent sandwich cheese, but i agree w/ sydasti that it's kinda boring on it's own.
I had a decent manchego recently that was a new offering but I can't recall the name. I like the two dutch cheeses I mentioned the most.
You know... I never think of Dutch cheese when I buy cheese. I need to look next time I'm at the store and try some out.
It's good. STFU.
You guys have cheese in a can. Come on.
Europe=best for cheese.
but Rogue is now the first ever US cheese maker to export raw milk cheese to europe.
based on the name and location, i figure they have to be related to the brewery. good stuff!
Mmm... looks good.
But that's a helluva long way from the brewery.
They have a brew called Yellow Snow there, you know.
i figured oregon was a dinky state like most new england states.
Actually it appears Rogue started in Ashland then closed down that pub and now just brews in Newport.
And I can tell you for a fact after driving through Oregon to get to the coast last summer that it is a BIG a$$ state.
I had this cheese recent, it was good - I wonder how their other cheeses rate:
i know my geography
and i've been in OR about 4 times, though mainly around the portland/hood river/ bend area.
I've done the Seattle to Oakland drive, solo, about a dozen times.
