ya, sounds like mobo is unhappyComputer is still broken, which is annoying. Thought it was a dead M.2. New M.2 not recognized—mobo?
On the upside I work a half day this afternoon. In an apparent effort to make up for pulling me from academic time to cover other people in past weeks my workweek has consisted of 2.5 days academic time, 1.5 days on service, and my 1 vacation/midweek ski day in the middle.

I mean, I can't really blame her...Planning on skiing with Haley tomorrow. She has decided that she would rather go to ski school than ski with me because @Nick isn't skiing with us. Funcle Nick indeed.

(2) Haley is awesome. Her skiing improves notably every time she goes. Tell her I'll take her soon.
Your CPA is wrong. An inherited IRA should have no 10% early w/d penalty. If it does, it was not put into an inherited account and you or the person who told you to put it into that account fucked up. You should only have to pay the appropriate taxes with an inherited IRA.Nah, made an early withdrawal on an inherited IRA, forgot that I didn't include the 10% penalty in my withholdings.
I am my own CPA. I need to read up on this. A quick scan showed something about minimum required distribution and some other noise.Your CPA is wrong. When my mother died I inherited the entire sum of her retirement. She had not yet retired. A massive $30k. Not exactly monocle money. My brother and I were actually budgeting to take care of her before she passed.
There is an annual minimum required distribution, but there is no 10% early w/d penalty if it is in an inherited IRA. That is black and white. As long as the account is properly classified (Inherited IRA for John Doe, FBO Westy), you are fine. If it says Traditional IRA or Roth IRA for Westy you have a problem.I am my own CPA.
