Hey Everyone,

I saw that a addition of a junior class will be established for this years US open at Diablo. What kind of racers would enter this class?

Pretty sinple question, but I was confused when I read it.

Thank you,

Austin

Ive always wanted to see some DH/trail/obstacles incorporated into a slalom event. Make it a bit less bmx-groomed and more mtb carnage.

There are only two classes at the U.S. Open: amateur and pro. Among these two, only amateur has an age group break-down- 18&under (junior) and 19&older (senior). If you enter amateur, you are automatically entered into the appropriate age group based on your age the day of the race.

If you have a pro license, or you would like to see how you compare to the likes of Sam Hill, Steve Smith, Bryn Atkinson, etc... enter as a pro. Otherwise, enter amateur... it's still ultra-competitive.

Hope that clears up the confusion...
