I have been looking at getting a tv and was just wondering how big everyone's tv is. I think more than 36" is just stupid and looking at like 20 or maybe 27".

27" and its lifespan is almost at an end. You have to tap the front of it to get the image to "stabilize":bomb:

i'm rocking a 19" for those rare instances I have time to watch a movie or some cartoons. A co-worker recently purchased two 60" plasma tv's.

32" bought last August. Fits in the entertainment center just about right. It could hold a 36, but I didn't want to fork out anouther $200+ for a few more inches.

In my house we have 3 tv's, one on each floor.

First floor we have a 20" that was $88 at Target. We use it for watching the news and stuff while cooking dinner etc

Second floor:
27" tv that I manly watch. We won it back in 1995. I have an xbox hooked up to it.

Third floor:
27" tv that we have surround sound and dvr.

50 inch plasma and i love it. I thought a 36 would be good, then i decided a 42 would be perfect, but i am glad i went with a 50, Its not to big.

I'm rockin a 110" screen. I don't have TV though. Cut my cable off 6 years ago. We just watch movies basically. I work for a major electronics dealer and I won a front projector from InFocus. It definitely kicks ass. I'm a major audioholic so I already had a great home theatre to go with it.

53" widescreen rear projection HDTV. Big waste of money but DVD's sure do look nice.
HDTV will look great on it too. If you are watching non-HD broadcast, it's going to look horrible.

56" Samsung DLP. I love it, but I have watched way too much tv my entire life...that is how I justified buying it. Like having a great dh bike when you race pro, it pays off, haha.

I don't watch it much, so as long as it turns on and has a picture, any size TV will do.

37" HD. The world cup looks nuts in HD. World cup in non HD looks pants. (as my limey roomy would say...)

I've got a 27" in the bedroom, 34" in the family room, and a projector with an 8' wide screen in the basement.

As for what size to get... it depends on what you watch and how far away from the TV you sit.
