at the les croset area, which is part of the Portes du Soleil area which is shared between france and switzerland. we were DH'ing but there's an extensive chairlift system to get you all around. we stayed in morzine but also hit les gets quite often and made it to avoriaz. plus my friends also went to chatel, where AC has her training course.

Thanks. Right now we're looking more towards the SE corner of the country. There is just so much riding there!!!!!!!!!!1

Alot of the midwestern states I counted riding as taking my bike off my car and playing around during a gas stop. But I think Ive actually ridden In every state West of Colorado somewhat extensively. And ridden a fair ammount of many different trails all over the Northeast.

To add a twist to the thread, which was your favorite?

I'm going with CA - there is good riding all over the state, and it's a big state. I've had fun just about everywhere I've gone, though.
