I'm going with CA - there is good riding all over the state, and it's a big state. I've had fun just about everywhere I've gone, though.
Good question, I have to stick with Virginia. Although I have never ridden there, from the trails I have hiked, I think Wa could take the cake.

i should have mentioned in my post that while i have 'ridden' in a couple of the countries, i wouldn t really call it 'riding'... in ireland i took a casual pedal around a few beaches in co. antrim (northern ireland), so i guess it s another country altogether :)... same with indonesia and thailand, no real 'riding' on decent bikes, just cruising...
