Measuring from the top of the Stanchion(with or without the springs in place) how far down should the oil level be??

I'm not sure how far down it should be, but the manual says 110cc (3.7 oz) per leg.

Well, I received my fork back from Marzocchi and there was a pretty good amount of oil coming out for my first few rides. I took it to a shop and they advised that it's common for companies to put too much oil in and just let the extra bleed out. Don't know if that helps any at all, but it sounded to me like they were saying you can't really put "too much" oil in.
