I'm a practicing Catholic. For lent, I gave up fried foods. Whether it be pan fried or deep fried, I couldn't eat it.
So, since Fat Tuesday (mardi gras), I haven't had any of the following:
- carne asada fries
- funnel cakes/fries
- fried bacon (baked/nuked bacon just isn't the same)
- a 3x3 from in and out burger
- pan seared steak
- fried rice
- and so forth... ya know all the tasty stuff
I've dropped 10lbs since then, but I really miss my comfort food.
What should I eat first after my easter morning ride?
