how do you hide an installed program (or keep it from appearing) in the Add/Remove software in the control panel??

All the Add/Remove programs are listed under the registry value:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.

If the program does not come with an uninstaller, take not of the uninstall string and write it down somewhere for future reference.

edit: I don't know why it's forcing a space in the "CurrentVersion" part of the string. There is no space there.

actually, i need to install a program (read game) at work, but i dont want my boss to notice. at least not at a glance.
